Introduction to Hand Drumming 6 Week Course

Learn the basics of hand drumming through a six-week Introduction to Hand Drumming Program. You'll learn to play the Djembe drum while exploring traditional and non-traditional rhythms from around the world. Class meets every Monday night for six weeks.

This class helps students develop a powerful cultivation practice around drumming that nurtures a personal meditation, musical and wellness practice. This course focuses on the rudiments for developing a drumming practice and explores the do's and don't's of drumming etiquette.

The initial Introduction to Hand Drumming program lasts for 6 weeks. Once you have completed the series, you can continue coming to weekly classes at a discounted package rate. No prior experience is necessary, however, participants must use their own hand drum.
